Best Veggie Casserol

Ok my non-existent fans. Ok, I take that back, I think I have one follower. I am here again, but not so much for a crafty moment. Although, I guess the definition could vary of the word Crafty. Hold on gotta go look it up now....

Craft:  To use skill in making something.

Ok, were good, I made it by hand and used my hard core

skills! Lmao!

Well today I am here to share my original recipe. I thought it

up while thinking of another recipe. It is very similar to Texas

Potatoes.

Ingredients:

18 oz can of cream chicken

2 cans of mixed veggies

1 bag of shredded frozen hash browns

2 tbs of garlic salt

1 tbs dill

3/4 of a large Onion

1/2 cup of margarine

1 box of chicken flavor stuffing

2 cups of shredded cheddar cheese

2 tbs of garlic salt

1 tbs dill

PREHEAT OVEN TO 350 degrees

1) Thaw hash browns

2) Chop and saute the onions with about 2 tbs of margarine of olive oil

3)Mix the onions, hash browns, cream of chicken, mixed veggies, garlic salt, and dill all together in a large bowl. After mixing place in a large 9 x 12 Pyrex pan

4) cook for 40 minutes

5) the last 10 minutes melt 1/2 cup of butter in the microwave, then add it to the stuffing.

6) after the full 40 minutes, remove from the oven and evenly place the 2 cups of cheese on the top of the casserole, and then evenly spread the stuffing on top of that.

7) bake for an additional 15 minutes, then remove an let cool.

8) Enjoy!

Its easy, and pretty much thoughtless, goes great with chicken, pork chops, ham, and turkey. Also makes a great side dish for parties or family get togethers!

Thanks for tuning in!

  1. You're killing me with these awesome recipes. I love how you refer to your "one follower." Oh, boy, do I remember those not-so-long-ago days, too. I find myself having to go back and "fix" the photos of some of my Throwback Thursday posts. Thanks again for joining us!
